Latimer Scaffolding is committed to providing high-quality scaffolding services to both domestic and commercial clients. Our terms and conditions outline the basis upon which we provide our services, ensuring transparency and mutual understanding between us and our valued clients. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
Definitions
"Company" refers to Latimer Scaffolding Ltd.
"Client" means any individual or business entity entering into an agreement with Latimer Scaffolding for the provision of services.
"Services" refer to all scaffolding-related work undertaken by Latimer Scaffolding.
Scope of Work
Latimer Scaffolding undertakes to provide scaffolding services as agreed with the Client. This may include the design, erection, maintenance, inspection, and dismantling of scaffolding structures for residential and commercial projects. Any additional work outside of the agreed scope will require a separate agreement and may incur additional costs.
Quotation and Pricing
All quotations provided by Latimer Scaffolding are valid for a period of 30 days unless otherwise stated. The prices quoted are based on the scope of work as outlined at the time of the quotation. Should any changes be required, a revised quotation may be issued to reflect these alterations. All prices are subject to VAT at the applicable rate.
Payment Terms
The Client agrees to pay all invoices in accordance with the payment terms specified in the quotation or contract. Failure to make timely payments may result in the suspension of services and/or legal action to recover the outstanding amounts. Payment methods accepted by Latimer Scaffolding will be outlined in the invoice.
Health and Safety
Latimer Scaffolding operates in full compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation. Our team is trained to adhere to strict safety protocols on every project site. The Client agrees to provide a safe working environment and comply with any health and safety requirements as instructed by our team during the course of the project.
Access and Site Requirements
The Client must ensure that the site is accessible and free from obstructions before work commences. Any delays caused by site inaccessibility may incur additional charges. Latimer Scaffolding is not responsible for delays outside of our control, including but not limited to inclement weather or site restrictions imposed by third parties.
Liability and Insurance
Latimer Scaffolding holds public liability insurance to cover any damage caused by our work up to the specified limit outlined in our insurance policy. The Client is responsible for notifying us of any hazards or risks at the site prior to the commencement of work. We shall not be liable for damages caused by factors beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of God or unforeseen site conditions.
Project Completion and Handover
Upon completion of the scaffolding works, the Client will be notified and given the opportunity to inspect the structure. Any issues must be reported within a specified period to allow for prompt rectification. The structure remains the property of Latimer Scaffolding and must not be altered, moved, or tampered with by unauthorised persons.
Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with reasonable notice if the other party is in breach of the terms. Latimer Scaffolding reserves the right to terminate the agreement if the Client fails to provide a safe working environment or breaches any health and safety obligations.
Amendments
Latimer Scaffolding reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes in writing.
